MILLER - Dorothy Waletta (nee Buschlen) passed away peacefully on the morning of July 7, 1997 in the Forest Grove Care Centre at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Casper on July 14, 1972 and by her parents, Amos and Sarah Buschlen, one brother Arthur and one sister Ruth Dorothy. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Darlene; her grandchildren, Douglas (Leanne), Mike (Melissa) and Glenn; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born on a farm east of Carstairs, Alberta on September 18, 1910. She attended Bancroft and Siebertville schools in her early years and later Crescent Heights High School in Calgary. Dorothy and Casper were married on May 24, 1935 and spent thirty-seven years on their farm west of Acme, Alberta, then retired to Calgary in November of 1971. She attended Crossfield Baptist Church for many years. Dorothy had a deep and caring love for family, friends and home. Funeral Services will be held at FOSTER'S FUNERAL HOMES "Garden Chapel", 3220 - 4 Street N.W., on Thursday, July 10, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend David Holland of Crossfield Baptist Church officiating.
